Lucy, The Daughter of the Devil is an American digitally animated television series produced and broadcast by Cartoon Network ’s late night block Adult Swim . In Germany, this series was first broadcast in 2009 on the pay-TV channel TNT Serie . The series was created and written by Loren Bouchard , who was, among other things, one of the directors of The Little Master Director . The series was produced by Loren Bouchard, Seth Green , and John Piezas. The series was animated by Fluid Animation .

The series is about the 21 year old Lucy, who lives in San Francisco and is the daughter of the devil. In the series, Lucy falls in love with the DJ Jesus, which her father is not at all satisfied with.

The pilot episode He’s Not The Messiah, He’s A DJ aired on October 30, 2005, and after two years of repetition, a season of 11 episodes was commissioned, which premiered in the US on September 9, 2007.

The German-language first broadcast of the series was broadcast on TNT Series from September 5, 2009 to October 17, 2009. The order of the German-language broadcast differs greatly from the American one. The episodes were repeated several times on TNT Serie until May 2017, and the repeats have also been running on TNT Comedy since June 2016.
