Ludger Knepper (born February 27, 1950 in Lünen ) is a German mechanical engineer and university lecturer at the FH Aachen .

Life

After graduating from high school in Dortmund, Ludger Knepper studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University from the 1968/69 winter semester . In his first semester of study he joined the Corps Saxonia-Berlin. He completed his studies in 1973 as a Dipl.-Ing. from. He then completed a postgraduate degree in economics and was a doctoral scholarship holder at the Institute for Materials Handling and Rail Vehicles at RWTH. In 1978 he became a Dr.-Ing. At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen . PhD.

In 1978 he went to Darmstadt as a project engineer for Carl Schenck AG . From here he was appointed professor at the FH Aachen in 1984 , where he now holds the field of production logistics in the mechanical engineering and mechatronics department. He is a member of the board of the Aachen Institute of Applied Sciences eV .
