Ludolf IV of Dassel

Count Ludolf IV von Dassel (* before 1183; † around 1223 in Nienover ) was Count von Dassel and Nienover .

His parents were Count Adolf I von Dassel and the Countess von Ratzeburg, Adelheid von Wassel . His brother is Adolf III. from Dassel .

On April 21, 1183, Bishop Adelhag von Hildesheim enfeoffed Count Ludolf IV and Adolf III. von Dassel with one half of Homburg Castle (near Stadtoldendorf , in the north of the Solling), with the other half the brothers Berthold and Bodo von Homburg . The Homburger were already 1129–1145 by Siegfried IV of Boyneburg as Ministeriale on the Homburg. In 1150 they are barons (lat .: liberi homines ) and from 1180 noblemen (lat .: nobiles ).

He married Clementia von Everstein († after 1255; she was a daughter of Albrecht III. Von Everstein).
