Adelheid von Wassel

Adelheid von Wassel (* around 1175 ; † October 27, 1244 ) was Countess of Ratzeburg .

She was the daughter of Count Konrad II von Wassel and Adelheid von Loccum-Hallermund (daughter of Count Wilbrand I and stepdaughter of Count Günter II von Käfernburg ); Wilbrand von Käfernburg , Archbishop of Magdeburg, was her half-brother.

She was first mentioned in 1189 when she and her sister Fritherun partly sold and partly donated goods to the Marienberg monastery in Helmstedt .

Marriages and children

Adelheid was married twice and had five children known by name.
