Ludolf von dem Bussche (* after 1454 ; † August 28, 1528 ) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Ludolf von dem Bussche came from the Westphalian noble family von dem Bussche and was the son of Johann von dem Bussche zu Gesmold (1428–1503, Drost zu Grönenberg) and his wife Goste Stael, who had made a marriage in 1453 and an inheritance in 1460 came into possession of Gesmold Castle . Ludolf's sister Margarethe (* 1454) was married to Dietrich von der Borch .

Act

On November 10, 1483, Ludolf was mentioned in a document as a canon of Münster. In Paderborn he exercised the office of cathedral scholar . The management of the cathedral school was entrusted to him. It was also in the possession of Sommersell's obedience . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
