The Weißenbach ruins are the ruins of a castle north of Weißenbach in the market town of Gastern in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .
In 1142 a nobility seat was mentioned in a document. The castle was owned by the Trukmüller from 1628 to 1706. In 1787 the castle was abandoned. Today there are still small remains of the wall on private property.
