Ludovico delle Colombe
Ludovico delle Colombe (born January 20, 1565 in Florence , † after 1615 and before 1635 , probably there) was a philosopher from Florence. Today he is still known for his attempts to interpret the supernova of 1572 and the movement of the heavenly bodies within the framework of the Ptolemaic worldview . In contrast to him, Galileo inferred from this observation in a revolutionary way that the sphere of fixed stars is not immutable.
