Ludurru
The Domus de Janas of Ludurru are rock tombs in Buddusò in the province of Sassari in Sardinia , which are carved into a granite rock. The rock has three entrances to the chambers.
- The first domus has a rock canopy that protrudes up to 80 centimeters and is 1.55 meters wide. In the entrance floor there is a pecked water drain and on all walls there are door frames and remains of vertical stripes.
- The second domus has a round entrance instead of the square one, a soul hole 43 centimeters in diameter. This leads into a room that was originally divided into two sections by a wall that has now been demolished. The height of the chamber is about one meter. A bench on which the bodies were placed runs along the walls.
- The third domus is largely destroyed. It consists of a chamber with two square niches. In the left corner there is a seat carved into the rock. The center is a 5 cm deep floor pan with a diameter of 18 cm for food and libations. A frustoconical door frame leads from this room to the second large chamber, which has an area of about six square meters and is 1.75 meters high.
