Count Ludwig Günther von Nassau (born February 15, 1575 in Dillenburg ; † September 12, 1604 , died in front of Sluis ) Dutch lieutenant general of the cavalry in the Eighty Years War and Count von Nassau-Katzenelnbogen.

He was the youngest son of John VI. von Nassau and his first wife Elisabeth von Leuchtenberg (1537–1579).

Like many of his brothers, he fought with his cousin Moritz von Orange on the side of the States General. As early as 1596 he took part in the conquest of Cadiz as a volunteer after he had previously wanted to travel to South America with the English fleet to fight the Spanish there. His cousin made him lieutenant general in 1600 and he was already able to distinguish himself in the battle of Nieuwpoort . Then he could take Wachtendonk . In 1602 he was present in the attack on Luxembourg. In 1604 he took part in the siege of Sluis, where he developed a fever from which he died.

He was married to Countess Anna Margarethe von Manderscheid-Gerolstein (* August 10, 1575, † March 4, 1606) since June 7, 1601 . Anna Margarethe was the daughter of Count Johann Gerhard von Manderscheid-Gerolstein and the widow of Wirich VI. by Daun-Falkenstein . The marriage remained childless.
