Ludwig G'schrey
Ludwig G'schrey (born June 28, 1907 in Munich , † September 26, 2002 in Berlin ) was a German painter, graphic artist and poet.
Life
The son of the musician Richard G'schrey attended the private painting school of Hans Hofmann at the end of the 1920s , then the Academy of Painting in Munich and learned from Adolf Schinnerer . From 1933 he lived as an animator (among others at Marsfilm) and freelance painter in Berlin.
He was the father of Paran G'schrey and the grandfather of the Leipzig painter Albrecht Gehse and the Berlin musician Thomas G'schrey .
