Ludwig Haucke

Ludwig Haucke (born December 14, 1877 in Pößneck , † April 2, 1961 in Lomnitz ) was a German trade unionist .

Life

Hauch attended the community school, then learned the profession of gardener and worked in this profession from 1892 to 1904. In 1896 he became a member of the General German Gardening Association, in 1898 a member of the SPD . From 1897 to 1904 he was paymaster and assessor on the main board of the association and from 1904 to 1908 he was chairman of the association in the Elbegau. From 1908 to 1911 he acted as chairman of the General German Gardeners Association of Saxony , Thuringia and the Province of Saxony . From 1919 to 1933 he was chairman of the Gaus Dresden of the Association of Gardeners and Horticultural Workers, the successor union of the association.

After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists in 1933 he was active in the resistance and was imprisoned in 1933, 1936 and 1944.

In 1945 he became a member of the SPD and the FDGB again , and in 1946 of the SED . In 1945 he was a member of the local executive committee of the FDGB Dresden. At the founding meeting of the Association of Agricultural and Forestry Workers for the State of Saxony on July 11, 1945 in Dresden, Haucke was elected as deputy to the regional manager Franz Rosteck . From 1946 to 1950 he was first deputy chairman, then chairman of the state board of the Saxony agricultural and forestry union. From 1948 to 1952, Haucke was also a member of the State Board of Saxony of the FDGB and was a member from 1948 to 1951, then an honorary member of the central board of the Land and Forestry Union .
