Ludwig Hofbauer
Ludwig Hofbauer (born August 5, 1843 in Vienna ; † July 15, 1923 there ) was an Austrian vedute painter and graphic artist. Hofbauer learned watercolor painting, drawing and graphics as an autodidact. He mainly created vedute pictures of old Vienna and views of historical monuments from Lower Austria . Many of his works appeared in the form of postcards.
