Maximilian Ludwig Küntzelmann (born December 29, 1826 in Dresden ; † October 16, 1881 ) was a German industrialist.

Küntzelmann Villa on the White Deer

As the son of the soap maker August Küntzelmann, he created one of the most important soap factories from the small soap factory that had been owned by the family since 1716. He was a city councilor in Dresden and in 1872 bought the former estate on the Weißen Hirsch and had it divided into plots. He converted the manor house into a spa house, created a villa colony and suggested the establishment of the Weißer Hirsch forest park . He sent a request to the Ministry of the Interior that it could in future call itself a climatic spa and be included in the statistics of the Dresden baths. Künzelmann is considered to be the founder of the Dresden spa and villa suburb and today's district of Weißer Hirsch.

He was buried in the Trinity Cemetery.
