Ludwig Mellinger (bank manager)

Ludwig Maximilian Mellinger (born October 25, 1900 , † 1977 ) was a German bank manager.

Career

Ludwig Mellinger was promoted to Dr. rer. pole. PhD . Until 1945 he was editor of the weekly business newspaper Die Bank in Berlin. In 1946 he became in-house counsel at the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce and in 1947 its chief executive. At the same time he took over the management of the working group of the Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce. In 1953 he became a member of the board of directors of Bayerische Vereinsbank and in 1957 moved to the top of the bank's supervisory board.

As a representative of the Bavarian economy he was a member of the Broadcasting Council of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . He was also chairman of the Munich Student Union and the Munich Art Association.
