Ludwig Philipp von Wintzingerode

Ludwig Philipp von Wintzingerode (born April 18, 1665 , † September 18, 1720 ) was a German nobleman who served as general and commander-in-chief of the troops in the service of the Archbishop of Mainz and was a chamberlain and lord of Archshofen.

Ludwig Philipp's family comes from Eichsfeld, now in Thuringia. He is the second eldest son of Hans Ernst von Wintzingerode (1630–1690) and Dorothea von Meding. Ludwig Philipp married Juliane Sophie von Boehner, born on December 4, 1689. Freiin Wolfskeel von Reichenberg (1666–1736). From this marriage came Philipp Ignaz, born in 1698, who became canon in Münster and Würzburg stable master and after the death of his father took over the Archshofen estate.
