Ludwig Triem

Ludwig Triem (born March 7, 1921 in Neuweiler ; † May 16, 1988 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After elementary school Triem attended the administrative class at the state commercial school in Saarbrücken . From 1938 he worked in the Saarland justice administration, after the war he moved to the Ministry of Labor. In 1956 he was appointed head of the Saarland main welfare office; he held this office until 1975.

The SPS / SPD belonged to Triem from 1947th From 1970 to 1982 he was a member of the SPD state executive. He held a mandate in the Saarbrücken city council from 1968 to 1979. In 1975 he was elected to the Saarland state parliament, to which he belonged until his death. There he was a member of the committees for budgetary and financial questions, for internal administration and most recently in the committee for constitutional and legal questions. During the eighth legislative period (1980–1985) he chaired the Interior Committee, and from 1985 he was also the age-old president of the state parliament.
