Ludwig Winter (born August 16, 1894 in Barntrup , † after 1945) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the elementary school in Barntrup an der Lippe, Winter attended the vocational training school in Barntrup. He then worked for two and a half years as a winder in the tobacco industry, and then worked in several brick factories until the outbreak of World War I.

From December 29, 1914, Winter took part in the First World War, in which he fought on the western and eastern fronts until he was released on November 21, 1918 . During the war he was awarded the Iron Cross II. Class, the Princely Lippian War Merit Cross and the Wound Badge in black. After the war, Winter worked as a construction worker.

In 1925, Winter joined the NSDAP. In January 1932 he was appointed district leader in the Springe district. In November 1929 he took over his first public office as mayor in Pattensen an der Leine. In addition, from March 1933 there were offices as district deputy and member of the provincial parliament. From the beginning of April 1936 he was district leader in the Neustadt district.

From November 12, 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945, Winter was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 16 (South Hanover-Braunschweig) .
