Ludwig von Stinglheim zu Karpfenstein († October 31, 1593 ) was court lord and carer in Neustadt an der Donau .
Life
Baron von Stinglheim was the landlord of Karpfenstein and the keeper of the city of Neustadt an der Donau. In the area of the current hamlet of Karpfenstein there was a Hofmark that belonged to the Lords of Stinglheim . They built a castle there that no longer exists and operated a pond. The von Stinglheim family comes from the town of Thürnthenning .
His red marble grave slab is in the Catholic parish church of St. Laurentius in Neustadt an der Donau. The renaissance relief shows the knightly armored man in full figure.
