Ludwig von Wedderkop
Ludwig von Wedderkop , completely Ludwig Magnus Ferdinand von Wedderkop, also Louis von Wedderkop (born September 15, 1807 in Eutin , † May 18, 1882 in Oldenburg in Holstein ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.
Life
Ludwig von Wedderkop was the son of Lübeck canon Georg Konrad von Wedderkop (1765–1841) and Adamine Wilhelmine Nicoline von Moltke, a daughter of Friedrich Ludwig von Moltke . His great-grandfather was the Holstein-Gottorf State Minister Friedrich Christian von Wedderkop . He studied law at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1826 he became a member of the Corps Holsatia . After completing his studies, he was initially a government assessor and senior judge in Birkenfeld (Nahe) . From 1860 to 1868 he was Senior Appealer at the Oldenburg Higher Appeal Court in Oldenburg .
From 1851 to 1860 Wedderkop was a member of the Oldenburg State Parliament . In 1867 he became mayor of Eutin in the Principality of Lübeck .
