Ludwigshütte (Biedenkopf)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Former Buderus administration building

Ludwigshütte is an industrial settlement in the central Hessian town of Biedenkopf . The place emerged from the settlement at the formerly important blast furnace site (until 1886) and later steel works (iron foundry).

The hut was first mentioned in 1569 as a forest smith . In 1871 the district of Ludwigshütte consisted of 42 houses. After the territorial reform in 1974, the district of Biedenkopf was no longer mentioned as such in the main statute of the newly formed city, as it is located in the city limits - only former communities became districts of Biedenkopf.
