Wilhelm of Validlingen

Wilhelm Friedrich Balthasar Freiherr von Validlingen (born September 20, 1834 in Wildbad , † January 19, 1898 in Stuttgart ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Validlingen was the son of the royal Wuerttemberg forestry master Wilhelm Ernst von Validlingen (* 1806; † 1850) and belonged to the Protestant church . He attended grammar schools in Heilbronn and Stuttgart and studied law at the universities of Tübingen and Leipzig . In 1866 he was appointed senior court actuary in Tuttlingen, in 1869 judicial assessor at the Stuttgart City Court, in 1875 district judge in Heilbronn and in 1879 district judge in Ravensburg. From 1868 to 1898 he was a member of the Second Chamber in the Württemberg Landtag as a representative of the knighthood of the Black Forest District and from 1889 a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 7 ( Nagold , Calw , Neuenbürg , Herrenberg ) and the German Reich Party . In 1894 Validlingen became Chamberlain and Chamberlain of the King of Württemberg . He resigned the Reichstag mandate on August 10, 1895 as a result of his appointment as district court director in Stuttgart, but was re-elected on November 12, 1895. In the Württemberg state parliament he gave his vote in favor of the government-loyal state party until 1895 and then joined the parliamentary group of the Free Association . In 1898 his mandates ended with his death. Validlingen was married and had two children, including the member of the state parliament, Conrad von Validlingen .

He had been a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen since 1854 .
