The four-story residential and commercial building was built in 1912/13 by the Nuremberg architect Albert Mayer in the late Art Nouveau style. The saddle roof construction is equipped with semi-oval oriels and plaster decorations. The fourth floor has been optically withdrawn to match the neighboring houses by downgrading the top floor and adding the semi-oval bay windows. Today there are apartments and a fashion shop in the property.

During the National Socialist era , three residents of the property were persecuted. The textile merchants Karl Neumann and Julius "Juller" Neumann (son of Karl Neumann) were deported to Ghetto Theresienstadt (Karl Neumann) and Ghetto Izbica (Julius Neumann) respectively in 1942 and died there; Dr. med. Siegfried Wahle , who lived in the property and also ran his practice, died in the Kauen concentration camp in 1941 . They are remembered by three stumbling blocks in front of the property .
