Lueget, from mountain to valley
Lueget, vo Berg und Tal is a Swiss folk song from the 19th century. The original title of the song was evening song of the Wehrliknaben in Hofwyl . It was and is interpreted by numerous musicians, including Florian Ast , Linard Bardill and Yelena Panova in the film Beresina and in the musical Ewigi Liebi .
The composer is Ferdinand Huber and the author is the historian and librarian Josef Anton Henne . In 1823, Henne was a teacher at Philipp Emanuel von Fellenberg's institute in Hofwil , where the song was written. The song, written by the composer in A major , was later used as a pause symbol by Schweizer Radio International .
