Dimitri Bilov

Dimitri Bilov (* 1967 in the Soviet Union ) is a German actor , voice actor , director , acting teacher , theater actor and painter .

He currently lives in Cologne and has worked in numerous German TV series , television and cinema films in which he often embodies shady characters and criminals .

Career

Initially, Bilov worked as a soldier, sailor, construction worker and cook.

Bilov completed his training as a theater and film actor at the State Theater University in Almaty in Kazakhstan from 1984 to 1992, where he also obtained a diploma as a director between 1989 and 1994 and trained as a set designer between 1991 and 1993 . Between 1992 and 1995 he was on the stage of the State Academic Dramatic Theater Almaty in Kazakhstan, where he also worked as a director and set designer. During the same period, Bilov worked as a director and set designer at the Kazakh State Philharmonic. He also took up the position of lecturer at the “Acting and Directing” chair at the State Academic Dramatic Theater in Almaty. From 1992 he also took on directing at the theater. Between 1995 and 1999 he worked as an actor, director and set designer at the Vladivostok Kammerspiel and as a lecturer at the Vladivostok University of Applied Sciences for Theater and Art. Bilov has been an actor and director in Cologne since 2000. Since 2005 he has been employed as an acting teacher at the Theater Academy in Cologne .

In addition to Russian as a native speaker, Bilov also speaks German and Polish . This enables him to work multilingual as a voice actor.

As a painter, he exhibited his works, which have already been shown at international exhibitions, at the Louvre in Paris in 2009 .
