The 1935/36 season was the tenth and final regular season of the Canadian-American Hockey League (CAHL). The Philadelphia Ramblers became champions . For the 1936/37 season , the IHL was merged with the International Hockey League and renamed the International-American Hockey League .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Castors de Québec were relocated to Springfield , Massachusetts and changed their name to Springfield Indians .
- The Philadelphia Arrows were sold and replaced by the Philadelphia Ramblers .
mode
In the regular season, the five teams played between 47 and 48 games. The top three teams qualified for the playoffs. The semifinals were played in a best-of-three series, the final in a best-of-five series. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
