The 1930/31 season was the fifth regular season of the Canadian-American Hockey League (CAHL). The Springfield Indians became champions .

In the regular season, the five teams played 40 games each. The top three teams qualified for the playoffs, with the first place winner in the first round one bye had. For progress in the semifinals, the goals scored were decisive, in the finals in the best-of-five series, the number of wins. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
