The 1930/31 season was the second regular season of the International Hockey League (IHL). The Windsor Bulldogs became champions .
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Hamilton Tigers stopped the game.
- The Niagara Falls Cataracts stopped playing.
- The Toronto Millionaires stopped gaming.
- The Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets were added to the league as an expansion team.
- The Syracuse Stars were added to the league as an expansion team.

In the regular season, the seven teams played 48 games each. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
