The Hamilton Tigers were a Canadian ice hockey team from Hamilton , Ontario . The team played between 1926 and 1930 in the Canadian Professional Hockey League and the International Hockey League .
history
The Hamilton Tigers franchise was founded in 1926 as a member of the Canadian Professional Hockey League . The name was chosen based on a national Hockey League team of the same name that was active until 1925. After the Canpro was replaced by the International Hockey League in 1929 , the Tigers also competed in the IHL. Following the 1929/30 season , the team stopped playing.
