Darlanne Fluegel (born November 25, 1953 in Wilkes-Barre , Pennsylvania , † December 15, 2017 in Orlando , Florida ) was an American actress who was featured in films such as Once Upon a Time in America and Live and Die in the 1980s became known in LA .

Life

Darlanne Fluegel has appeared on the television series Crime Story and Hunter . She played a supporting role in Sergio Leone's film Once Upon a Time in America as Robert De Niro's girlfriend Eve (it was listed as Darlanne Fleugel). In 1985, she played Ruth Lanier in Life and Die in LA , the main actor's girlfriend. In 1986 she played Kirk Douglas ' girlfriend in Archie and Harry, and in 1989 Sylvester Stallone's wife in Lock Up .

Fluegel also had numerous appearances in various television programs, commercials, music videos and she worked as a photo model. She taught acting at the University of Central Florida between 2002 and 2007.

At the age of 56, she developed Alzheimer's . She died on December 15, 2017 of complications from her illness. Her death was only made public in January 2018.
