Scanner Cop is a 1994 offshoot of the horror film Scanners - Your Thoughts Can Kill and Pierre David's directorial debut . The film was produced directly for the video market and was released in Germany in May 1994. In 1995, the sequel Scanner Cop II was created .

action

Samuel Staziak inherited the scanner skills from his late father and is adopted by a young police officer. After people start attacking police officers out of the blue, Samuel, who is now practicing this profession himself, uses his options and gets on the trail of a neurosurgeon who can reprogram people's brains. Samuel falls into the clutches of the madman, but in the end he can use his strength to overcome him.
