Pierre David

Pierre David (born May 17, 1944 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian film producer, screenwriter and director.

Live and act

His career in film began in the early 1970s as Executive Producer (executive producer) with the film Un enfant comme les autres ... . In 1979 he worked again as executive producer for the horror film Die Brut directed by David Cronenberg . Two years later, the two worked together again, resulting in the film Scanners - Your Thoughts Can Kill . They cooperated a third time on the horror film Videodrome from 1983. In 1991 David made his debut as a screenwriter with the action film Martial Law II . In 1994 he made his first film as a director with Scanner Cop . The film is an offshoot of Scanners - Your Thoughts Can Kill and had a sequel in 1995, produced by David. Since 2000, Pierre David has been primarily active as a producer for television. His work as a producer includes more than 180 productions.
