The Toronto Millionaires were a Canadian ice hockey team based in Toronto , Ontario . The team played between 1928 and 1930 in the Canadian Professional Hockey League and the International Hockey League .
history
The franchise of Kitchener Millionaires from the Canadian Professional Hockey League became the 1928/29 season to Toronto, Ontario, relocated and renamed the Toronto Millionaires. There the team replaced the previously disbanded Toronto Ravinas , who had also played in the Canpro. When the Canpro was replaced by the International Hockey League for the 1929/30 season , the millionaires initially joined this too. After a year in the IHL, however, the team stopped playing again.
