The London Panthers were a Canadian ice hockey team based in London , Ontario . The team played between 1926 and 1936 in the Canadian Professional Hockey League and the International Hockey League .

history

The franchise was founded in 1926 under the name London Panthers as a member of the Canadian Professional Hockey League . In this, the team won the championship title straight away in the 1926/27 season . After the league was replaced by the International Hockey League in 1929 , the Tecumsehs, as the team was called after the league change, also competed in the IHL and won their championship title in the 1933/34 season. The IHL stopped playing in 1936. Then the London Tecumsehs were also dissolved.
