The Lufthansa Regional branding is partly based on the Lufthansa corporate design :

  • The Lufthansa CityLine machines have the Lufthansa logo, the crane, on the vertical stabilizer and carry the Lufthansa Regional logo with the addition Operated by Lufthansa CityLine in DLH Helvetica, as well as the Lufthansa logo under the side cockpit windows and the Star Alliance logo next to the cockpit window .
  • Air Dolomiti has a livery that is independent of Lufthansa Regional. The affiliation to the Lufthansa Group is not evident from their aircraft, but they are labeled “Partner of Lufthansa”.
  • The former members Contact Air, Augsburg Airways and Eurowings had a pattern on the vertical tail in the Lufthansa colors blue and yellow, but not the Lufthansa logo. The De Havilland DHC- 8-400 from Augsburg Airways were the only ones to wear the Lufthansa Regional logo , and the name of the respective company was affixed to all other aircraft, for reasons of collective bargaining, among other things. Some Contact Air machines had a Star Alliance special paint job.

Route network

Lufthansa Regional connects the airports of the regions with the large Lufthansa hubs in Frankfurt and Munich. Lufthansa Regional flights are coordinated with the Lufthansa flight schedule and have LH flight numbers. Customers can use all Lufthansa service facilities and their booking systems. The airlines are partners in Lufthansa's frequent flyer program Miles & More . Lufthansa Regional flies to over 80 destinations in Europe, serving over 150 routes . The airlines operate flights with 58 aircraft.
