Luigi Bazzoni

Luigi Bazzoni (born June 25, 1929 in Salsomaggiore , Parma province , † March 1, 2012 ibid) was an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Bazzoni, who completed his training at Rome's Cinecittà and initially graduated in architecture , then devoted himself to directing. After numerous short documentaries , he worked in the feature film sector from 1958 to 1962 as an assistant director; He became known as a director mainly through his adaptation of the Carmen fabric, which he filmed in 1967 as Spalo Western. He also made a handful of other films that had moderate success.
