Luigi Benedetti
Luigi Benedetti (born May 19, 1951 in Massa , Province of Massa-Carrara ) is a former Italian sprinter .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he finished eighth in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
In 1973 he retired from the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Rotterdam over 60 m in the semifinals. At the EC 1974 in Rome, he won silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay and reached the semi-finals over 200 m .
With the Italian 4 x 100 meter relay he was sixth at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
In 1973 he was Italian champion over 100 m .
