Luigi II Gonzaga
Luigi II Gonzaga , also Ludovico II Gonzaga (* around 1329 or 1334 in Mantua ; † October 4, 1382 ) was the son of Guido Gonzagas , Count of Mantua, and his successor from 1369.
He married on February 16, 1356 Alda d'Este (* July 18, 1333; † 1381), daughter of Obizzo III. d'Este , with whom he had two children:
- Francesco I. Gonzaga (1366–1407), Count of Mantua from 1382, ⚭ 1) Agnes Visconti († 1391), daughter of Bernabò Visconti , ⚭ 2) 1393 Margherita Malatesta († 1399), daughter of Galeotto Malatesta of Rimini
- Elisabetta Gonzaga ⚭ 1386 Carlo Malatesta of Rimini († 1429)
