Guido Gonzaga

Guido Gonzaga (* 1291 ; † September 22, 1369 ) was the eldest son of Luigi I Gonzaga , city lord of Mantua from the Gonzaga family . He followed his father in 1360 and was appointed Count of Mantua by Emperor Charles IV in 1362 .

His first marriage was to Agnes Pico, daughter of Francesco Pico von Mirandola, with whom he had a daughter: Beatrice Gonzaga, who married Niccolò I. d'Este († 1355) on January 21, 1335 . His second marriage to Camilla Beccaria had no offspring.

In his third marriage he married Beatrice von Bari, daughter of Count Odoardo, from whom he had three sons:
