Luis Cerrilla
Luis Cerrilla (born February 1906 in Orizaba , Veracruz , † October 14, 1936 ), also known by the nickname El Oso ( Eng. The bear ), was a Mexican football player in the position of defender .
Life
Luis Cerrilla probably came to the capital city club America in 1924 , with which he won the championship of the capital league four times in a row in the following years (1925 to 1928) . The talented defender was considered a real bastion in the Americanistas' defense and was a regular in this first great epoch of the traditional club from Mexico City .
For the Mexican national team , he played both games at the 1928 Olympic football tournament , which were lost to Spain (1: 7) and Chile (1: 3).
