Luis Felipe de Jesús Peña Gutiérrez (born May 3, 1972 in Tlaquepaque , Jalisco ), also known by the nickname Halconcito , is a former Mexican football player in the position of defender who has worked for years as a football coach in the coaching staff of Club Deportivo Guadalajara .

career

Peña Gutiérrez began his professional career with the Leones Negros de la Universidad de Guadalajara , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in the 1990/91 season and for which he played until their temporary withdrawal from professional football in the summer of 1994.

He then moved to the capital club Club América , where he spent the 1994/95 season. His last stop in the top Mexican division was the CD Veracruz , where Peña was under contract from 1995 to 1997.
