Luis Quintanilla del Valle

Luis Quintanilla del Valle (born November 22, 1900 in Paris, † March 16, 1980 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican ambassador .

Life

The son of a diplomat was the godchild of the Mexican poet Amado Nervo . Luis Quintanilla del Valle grew up in Paris and studied at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand and social sciences at the Sorbonne . In 1918 he visited Mexico for the first time and in 1921 he entered the diplomatic service for the country. It was Mexico's ambassador to the Soviet Union. After finishing his diplomatic career, del Valle worked in public administration and taught at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico . He wrote works on literature, politics and philosophy.
