Luise Holthausen (* 1959 in Nürnberg ) is a German children's book - author .

Live and act

Born in Nuremberg and raised in Frankfurt am Main , Luise Holthausen initially worked as a bank clerk in Bochum after completing her training . Since 2002 she has been working successfully as a freelance author in the field of children's and youth literature , currently with around 60 of her own and a participation as a co-author on a further 70 publications.

Luise Holthausen now lives in Hesse, is married and has two grown sons.
