Princess Luise of Anhalt-Dessau (* August 21, 1709 in Dessau ; † July 29, 1732 in Bernburg ) was the wife of Prince Victor Friedrich , and since 1724 Princess of Anhalt-Bernburg.

Life

Luise was the sixth of ten children of Prince Leopold I of Anhalt-Dessau and his morganatic wife Countess Anna Luise Föhse .

In 1724, at the age of 15, she was married in Dessau to her relative, Prince Victor Friedrich von Anhalt-Bernburg (* 1700; † 1765). She was given birth to a healthy daughter on June 29, 1732, but died one month after the birth of her only child on July 29, 1732 at the age of 23 in Bernburg.

Her widowed husband married Princess Albertine von Brandenburg-Schwedt (1712–1750) in Potsdam a year later in 1733 and fathered five children with her. In 1750 he married Mrs. Konstanze Schmidt for the third time.
