Luisella Sala

Luisella Sala (born December 16, 1945 in Milan ) is an Italian actress and dramaturge . She lives with her husband Alessandro Marchetti on Lake Maggiore in Verbania .

Life

She received her acting diploma from the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica in Milan. Together with Alessandro Marchetti she founded the Compagnia Teatro 7, which got its own house in 1970 in the Teatro Filodrammatici in Milan.

As an actress and dramaturge, she mainly devoted herself to the Commedia dell'arte . Invitations to international workshops through the Italian cultural institute as well as tours over 30 years through Europe , Africa and Japan with pieces by Pirandello , Goldoni and Ruzante .

In 1995 she founded the Teatro Studio Marchetti and in 2005 the Compagnia Stabile del VCO based at the Teatro del Chiostro in Verbania.

She writes various plays that have been translated into French, English and German.

Awards

  • In 2003 she won first prize in the "Women and Theater" category at the "International Inner Wheel Club" in Rome for her play "Un disordine Necessario"
  • and in 2004 for "La porta aperta", which was premiered on December 5th, 2007 in the Regensburg Tower Theater.
  • In 2005 she received the "Calcante" prize of the "Società Italiana Autori Drammatici" with the piece "La Bandante" which was premiered in November 2007 at the Teatro del Chiostro in Verbania.
