Lukas Hoffmann (born April 13, 1997 in Homburg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Hoffmann started playing football at FC 08 Homburg before the central defender moved to the youth team at 1. FC Saarbrücken . In 2013 he came to the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim performance center . From 2014 he played with the U19 of the club in the A-Juniors-Bundesliga . In the 2015/16 season he reached the final of the German A-Junior Championship with the team and failed in the final with 3: 5 at the U19 of Borussia Dortmund . In the summer of 2016 he received his first professional contract with the third division club SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . He made his professional debut on December 2, 2016 in the league game on matchday 17 against SV Wehen Wiesbaden , after being substituted on one minute before the end of the game. He made his first appearance in the starting line-up on matchday 25 in a 0-1 win at Halleschen FC . After he only made three appearances in the league in the 2017/18 season, he terminated his contract with Großaspach at the end of the season.

From 2018 to 2020 Hoffmann worked for the SSV Ulm .
