Lun Bawang

The Lun Bawang are an indigenous people on the Southeast Asian island of Borneo . They are counted among the Dayak . The Lun Bawang traditionally inhabit the highlands of East Kalimantan in the Indonesian part of Borneo, the Temburong district in Brunei , the southwest of Sabah in eastern Malaysia and the Limbang region in northern Sarawak . In the past they were often referred to as Murut , although they are linguistically and culturally more related to the Kelabit .

In Sarawak, Malaysia, the Lun Bawang are assigned to the Orang Ulu ; while in neighboring Sabah and the Krayan Valley in Kalimantan they are commonly referred to as Lundayeh or Lun Daye. At the regional level, the Lun Bawang use different names, such as Lun Lod, Lun Baa 'or Lun Tana Luun.

The Lun Bawang traditionally cultivate and raise cattle . Poultry , pigs and water buffalo are kept as cattle . In addition, there is hunting and fishing.
