Lupita D'Alessio

Lupita D'Alessio ( María Guadalupe Contreras Ramos ; born March 10, 1954 in Tijuana ), known as La Leona Dormida , is a Mexican singer and actress.

D'Alessio began her career in the music show La Familia D'Alessio, her father's Poncho D'Alessio, on Tijuana TV. She then went to Mexico City and recorded the single Mi Corazón es un Gitano there. She sang the same song in the telenovela Mundo de juguete on television. In the 1970s and 1980s she then took on roles in series such as Ana de Aire , and she sang the theme song of the telenovela Pacto de Amor , in which she also appeared as an actress.

In 1980, she was beside Erika Buenfil and Susana Dosamantes a major role in Ernesto Alonso Aprendo a Amar and sang again the theme song A Mi .
