Philipp Strobandt

Philipp Arnold Wilhelm Strobandt (born March 23, 1804 in Werne ; † May 29, 1892 in Coesfeld ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Strobandt, who was a Catholic denomination, studied law and became a lawyer. He became mayor of Coesfeld. In 1847 he was a deputy member of the First United State Parliament ( Bernardinus Krauthausen took part in the State Parliament for Coesfeld). In contrast, he took part in the Second United State Parliament in 1848. In 1851 he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia for the electoral district of West Münster and the cities of Coesfeld a. a.

He was awarded the title of a Privy Councilor of Justice and, in 1873, that of an honorary citizen of Coesfeld.
