Lutz Eidam

Lutz Eidam (* 1975 in Bad Hersfeld ) is a German lawyer.

Life

After graduating from high school and completing 12 months of military service in the Bundeswehr in Rotenburg an der Fulda , he studied law in Frankfurt am Main from 1996 (first state examination in 2001). From 2003 to 2008 he was a research associate at the Institute for Criminal Science and Legal Philosophy at the University of Frankfurt am Main , chair Winfried Hassemer . From 2008 to 2014 he was a research assistant and habilitation candidate at the Bucerius Law School , Frank Saliger chair. From 2014 to 2017 he was holder (representative) of the discharge professorship for criminal law at Goethe University. Since 2017 he has held the chair for criminal law (including commercial and medical criminal law), criminal procedural law and comparative criminal law in Bielefeld .
