Lutz Neitzert

Lutz Neitzert (born October 24, 1958 in Neuwied ) is a German cultural sociologist and journalist .

Life

Neitzert studied sociology , philosophy and German at the Philipps University of Marburg . In 1989 he received his doctorate on the subject of "The Birth of Modernity, the Citizens and Music Art", a social-scientific study of the musical aesthetic change from the baroque to the classical . He then had teaching positions at the universities of Marburg, Koblenz-Landau and, since 2019, Bonn . A particular focus of his research is the right-wing extremist music and youth scene. As a radio author, he mainly works for SWR and WDR .
